Music
I don't exactly have any studio-quality audio clips at the moment, but here are a few songs you can take a listen to that will give you an idea of how I sing. Please ignore the quality (or lack thereof, as it were) of the recordings. Unless otherwise noted, they were actually recorded on my digital video camera (it's not half as bad as you'd think). I'm the lead vocal on all of the songs below. Below the player are descriptions of the songs as far as which ones are original, recorded live, etc.

There are currently 25 tracks in the player below, so use the scroll bar on the right to go down the list. Simply click on a song to hear it and adjust the volume at the upper right of the player. The songs are in alphabetical order. Wanna hear 'em all? Just click on the first one and they will play in order.

Song Description
All Right Now This is a live recording of the Free song done with my former band Undercover from May 2k3.
Autumn In The Orient
(Original)
Funny enough, this original instrumental song came about when I sat at the piano, determined to write a song that only used the black keys. True story. Not a single white key was harmed during the recording of this song. This version was recorded on my MacBook Pro where I added strings.
Blue Cheez
(Original)

This original instrumental song was written entirely on the computer. I called it "Blue Cheez" because it was a bit bluesy and a bit jazzy.

Depressed Mode
(Original)

This original instrumental was also written on the computer. I called it "Depressed Mode" because it kinda sorta reminded me of Depeche Mode and how A LOT of their music is depressing. Yeah, I'm just soooo clever...

Don't Want To Lose You
(Original)

I wrote this song in the summer of 2k2. It's a piano ballad with lyrics and music written by me. I'm also performing on piano. As a footnote: Be gentle with reference to the quality of the recording - it was recorded with one microphone live on a cheap upright piano - vocals and piano at the same time through the same mic...I know, I know...

Drops of Jupiter

I simply recorded vocals over a karaoke track (I'm all about quality don't ya know) of this Train song for a friend who really liked how I sang it. It was done quickly, so I'm not super proud of the performance, but...

Earth Angel This is a live recording of this Penguins (and Marty McFly?) classic with my former band Undercover from May 2k3.
Friends In Low Places This is a live recording of this Garth Brooks classic with my former band Undercover from May 2k3.
Gianna Leigh
(Original)
This is an instrumental song I wrote for my youngest daughter before she was born. A little lullaby for my Gianna Leigh.
Hey Girl This is a recording of me over a background track of Billy Joel's version of this song (from his Greatest Hits III) that I recorded at a friend's house in the summer of 2k2.
Honesty Okay, I'm a big Billy Joel fan. Got a problem with that? I think that most can relate to the lyrics...
I Feel Good (I Got You) This is a live recording of James Brown's staple with my former band Undercover from May 2k3.
I Like It, I Love It A cover of the Tim McGraw hit. This was recorded in November of 2008 with my band Full Throttle at Cooper's in Nevada City, CA. It was recorded on a cheap video camera, so there is absolutely no mix. Take it for what it's worth.
It Had To Be You This is a recording of me over a background track of Harry Connick's version of this song that I recorded at a friend's house in one take (not to brag, but to point out that the flaws are duly noted...) in the summer of 2k2. I used to sing this song to my kids at bedtime.
Keep Your Hands To Yourself This is a live recording of the Georgia Satellites song with my former band Undercover from May 2k3.
Mack The Knife I love the old "Rat Pack" type of songs. I got ahold of this background track and decided to sing it.
Mustang Sally This is a live recording of the classic Wilson Pickett song with my former band Undercover in February 2k4.
Paralyzer This is the Finger Eleven song from the mid-2000's. Not the best recording, but it shows that I can do harder rock - which I LOVE to sing.
Seven Nation Army A cover of the White Stripes hit. This was recorded in November of 2008 with my band Full Throttle at Cooper's in Nevada City, CA. It was recorded on a cheap video camera, so there is absolutely no mix. Take it for what it's worth.
Some Kind of Wonderful A cover of the Grand Funk hit. This was recorded in November of 2008 with my band Full Throttle at Cooper's in Nevada City, CA. It was recorded on a cheap video camera, so there is absolutely no mix. Take it for what it's worth.
The Crystal Ship This is a live recording of a great Doors tune with my former band Undercover from May 2k3.
The Sky Is Crying / Pride & Joy A cover of the Stevie Ray Vaughan hits. This was recorded in November of 2008 with my band Full Throttle at Cooper's in Nevada City, CA. It was recorded on a cheap video camera, so there is absolutely no mix. Take it for what it's worth.
This Dance
(Original)

I wrote this song way back in 1989 when I was briefly living in LA. It's a piano ballad with lyrics and music written by me. I perform piano on this one as well.

To Make You Feel My Love

A cool song. This was originally written and performed by Bob Dylan and remade by Billy Joel.

TNT A cover of the AC/DC hit, I have to mention that I'm singing this one a half step above the Bon Scott original - the band didn't want to tune down a half step for one song. This was recorded in November of 2008 with my band Full Throttle at Cooper's in Nevada City, CA. It was recorded on a cheap video camera, so there is absolutely no mix. Take it for what it's worth.
